Currently, there are two ways to obtain the output rate of a page. One solution using Data Query and another one using Explorer. However, one of these two alternatives will result in a reprocessing of the data afterwards:
- On Data Query: it is possible to calculate it by selecting the Page dimension (with a filter on the desired page) and the Visits metric. Subsequently, you have to re-build this dataset, this time by selecting the Exit Pages dimension (with the same filter). Finally, simply calculate the number of Exit Pages seen on the number of Pages seen, multiplied by 100.
- On Explorer: within the Navigation > Exploration module, you have the opportunity to obtain a simplified view allowing you to quickly see the exit rate of a page. Simply select a page from the drop-down menu, then select the next page to display a sequence in the right-hand pane. The red percentage number on the right will give you the overall exit rate after the selected page. You will need to hover over this number to see the details. In this bubble, you will be able to find the percentage of exit of the site by this page.
