Data Query 3 beta is the first tool to expose the New Data Model, and to be benefit from all the new features of the Transition. Please read this section of the Help Centre to find out more about this.
What datasets will be available when the beta is released?
At first, data will be available from the 1st of September 2019, so that we have time to populate the new databases with the event data. When the beta phase is over, you can expect to have at least all the 2019 datasets, but we are aiming to provide you with more historical data as soon as possible.
How can I enter the beta phase?
No activation is required. All Data Query 2 users will be able to access Data Query 3 from the 17th of October 2019.
A call-to-action button will be available at the top of Data Query 2 UI to suggest trying Data Query 3.
Another CTA will be available in Data Query 3 to easily go back to Data Query 2.
How long will the beta phase last?
Until the Data Query 3 functional scope covers all the main Data Query 2 features. The target release is end of Q1 2020, depending on the feedbacks we get during the beta phase.
Why is "N/A" my top page?
If you drop the "Page" property, you may notice that the top item is "N/A". This is because we don't apply implicit filters on your datasets.
Some other events have generated visit, with no value populated for the Page property:
Which means that if you need to get the top pages, you may need to add a filter:
Will existing Data Query 2 templates be migrated as Data Query 3 datasets?
Most probably yes. We currently don't have any date to provide you with.
Will existing Reporting API calls be migrated to the new API endpoint?
All existing queries will still work in the future for a limited (but quite long) period of time, no need to update your queries for now. However, some metrics or properties will be depreciated and abandoned. A complete list will be provided shortly.
Will existing Excel iqy connections still work when using the new API from Data Query 3?
Data Query 3 doesn't offer iqy exports because this feature is longer technically supported by Microsoft Excel. Howerver, we will soon offer the capacity to use AT Internet data in Excel through other means.
The existing iqy connections will keep on working as they are based on the Reporting API v2 from Data Query 2. However, some properties and metrics won't be supported by the new Reporting API v3 (deprecated or replaced by new ones), which means that some of the iqy connectors might fail. We will contact you if you're concerned.

Why are my property values now in English, even though my user account is not in English?
In Data Query 3 and the new Reporting API engine, we have made the decision to stop translating some property values for 2 reasons:
- Collaboration for multicultural reasons
